My little Ansco

September 13, 2008

Years ago, a friend gave me this sweet little Ansco Speedex 120mm camera from the 50s. The wheels of progress move slowly for me sometimes and the camera got tucked away in a drawer. A couple days ago, I found it and loaded it with fresh film. The f-stop, focus, and shutter speed are all controlled by dials around the lens. The front pops open to reveal the bellows and lens. I shot a roll of film on the sidewalk. Today I took it in for developing so we shall see what happens. There was also a roll of film in the camera from the previous owner and I am anxious to see what’s on that as well.
